I became jealous of my brother and my parents. They've attended a Warriors game already this year while I have been stuck with NBA League Pass. There is nothing wrong with that, but I've been having withdrawals since Brad and I attended Game 6 in the playoffs against Dallas. I needed to feel the atmosphere of The Roaracle. Like Damon Bruce said on KNBR, there isn't more bang for your buck in professional sports right now than Warriors basketball.
So what did I do? I bought tickets for the Warriors/Heat game off eBay. I was kind of pissed because I bid on another pair of tickets earlier, but I ended up losing to some damn sniper. They were in the upper level since I didn't want to give season ticket holders the satisfaction of gouging me in the lower level. What is up with that anyway? I understand that people can't make it to all of the games because of other priorities and whatnot, but why do you have to charge me up the ass for your tickets? Just sell them at face value to get them off your hands. But no, people insist on making a profit. Actually now that I think about it, I think, check that, I KNOW I would be trying to maximize profits as well. Nevermind. Who am I trying to kid...
Anyways, I ended up getting very similar tickets to the auction I lost for a cheaper price, so it all worked out. However, it didn't even matter where my tickets were because my brother ended up going to the game and he was in a luxury box. At halftime, he brought Jill and I a couple of tickets to witness the amazing 4th quarter comeback with complimentary beer and hot wings in hand. Thanks Brad for coming through in the clutch kind of like Baron, and Monta, and Harrington, and 'Buike, hell pretty much everyone was huge in the 4th except Troy Hudson. He shouldn't be allowed to suit up. T-Hud, if you want to help the team, the only way to do that is for you to be in street clothes on the bench. Sorry, you're just that bad.
Boom Dizzle, Stack Jack, and Mississippi Bullet were so happy after the incredible 4th quarter comeback win that they decided to get in the Christmas spirit and dance with me. Click here to watch.
