The Warriors are playing with our emotions again! When they look like they're done, they find a way to get us excited again. We should know by now not to get our hopes up too high when it comes to this team, but right now I couldn't be any more optimistic.
Why? They finally have everybody healthy. Their starting 5 of Baron, J-Rich, SJax, Teenage Mutant Ninja Harrington, and Biedrins is the best starting 5 they've had in over a decade. They've won three games in a row (only two counting in the win column) and look to be set to make a run at the 8th seed.
I can't even explain how important tomorrow's game against the Clippers is. Instead of having to keep winning and count on other teams to lose, they can kill two birds with one stone with a win tomorrow.
Although they're only 2.5 games out of the playoffs, the Warriors have 4 more losses than the Clippers. With many more losses and so many teams ahead of them, it's going to be tough. However, if you think about it, wouldn't this be the perfect ending to the Warriors' playoff drought?
Yo Andris, who's the best dunker in NBA history?
Edit @ 10:45: Looking at the teams ahead of the Warriors, they have tough games scheduled tonight.
- Minnesota @ Miami
- Denver vs. Detroit
- Hornets @ Phoenix
The Warriors desperately need this game!
Edit @ 12:05 pm: Huuuge win. Everything played out in the Warriors favor. Minnesota, Denver and New Orleans all lost, and the Warriors apparently (damn game wasn't on tv) whooped on the Clippers up until the end. 1.5 out with the Blazers on Sunday. Is this for real??
To all those that said the Dub'z should trade Baron and that they don't need him because they have Monta, where the hell are you guys now?
Man, sports talk radio gets to me sometimes...
