Too good for the NBA

People have suggested I write about my life instead of sports because, "[They] can't read sports." That's just the thing, you can't read sports, but I can't write about my life. I would have nothing new to write about because my life is is too boring and monotonous. So to satisfy you guys, I'll try to write about my life...sort of.

My life is still boring, but my dreams are craaazy.

Last night I was with my great aunt? Is that right? Well, my grandpa's sister. We were at a carnival of some sort and we were walking by this basketball game. Nobody was working there...it was just one of those where you put your money in and you get the basketballs. My aunt was eager to play so she took out the $12 it cost to play the game. She took two shots and that was it.

"What? That's it?" she yelled. I was pissed too so I jumped over the barrier, got the basketballs and passed them back to my aunt so she could shoot some more. She was happy, and I that was the end of that dream. Weird, I know.

The next dream was interesting too. I'm guessing it was due to the fact that I was buying DVDs last night on eBay and because I just finished season 2 of 24.

I was at school and I was being investigated for stealing DVDs and throwing a grenade . Nobody believed I was innocent and I was going to be thrown out of school unless I could prove my innocence. Luckily, Jack Bauer shows up, tells them that it was Yusuf that threw the grenade so that we could shoot the guys that were after us. Phew! I was off the hook.

Dream number 3: My great aunt and I were ballin' with Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady. We were playing the game 21 and I was dominating them. I was crossing T-Mac and dunking on KG...only if Kobe were there so I could've gone number 2 in his mouth or something. I'm not really sure what happened next, but I had to go so we did the little hand shake thing and left.

Going back and reading what I just wrote...it seemed much more interesting when I was dreaming. Sorry, but this is why I write about sports and not my life.

Back into sports columnist mode...
