- Jill and I waited in line for 3 hours (at least we got to wait inside while others behind us had to wait outside in the rain).
- We walk up to get his autograph on our 16x20s and he gives me the hip-hop handshake.
- I lay the 16x20 on the table and he chuckles at it...
- Me: "You should've won MVP of that game" (it is a picture of him dunking in the Rookie All Star game).
- Monta: "Yuup. That's what I was thinking."
You can tell in the picture I'm nervous and a little star-struck.

Here's how Jill experienced the day. It's probably a lot more interesting to read than what I just wrote.
So... Second time meeting Monta Ellis. I can't believe how nervous I was!! I went up there with Scott and I was all fidgety, it was pretty embarrassing. Then the 106kmel lady asked if we wanted a picture with Monta for their website (of course we did!). I doubt that it'll come out to be a good picture, but whatever... Anyway, here comes the good part. Scott wanted to stick around to take more pictures of him, so I just stood there, with nothing else to do but stare at Monta. But that was okay. He smiled at me! So I smiled back : ) Then a little later he gave me a little wave. So I shyly waved back... I felt silly. I was definitely starstruck. He obviously knew it. But who cares! That just made this second time a looot better than the first. Three hours of waiting for him was so worth it.
Matt Barnes signing on Saturday. Still thinking about whether I'm going or not...
