I was mad at the Lakers for losing to the Clippers and Nuggets about a week ago. Now they go and lose to the Clippers AGAIN! Are they the most worthless team in basketball?
The race for 8th was between the Warriors and Clippers, but wait. Is it possible that they both make the playoffs?
If the Warriors win out, which is possible considering they play the Kings, Minnesota without KG, Dallas who has nothing to play for (unless they want to spoil it for the Warriors since they're too scared to play them in the first round), and Portland. If the Warriors go 4-0, the Lakers would have to go 1-2 to miss the playoffs. They play the Suns tonight in Phoenix on a back-to-back. With that said, they will have to lose one game against either the Kings or Sonics.
Is it possible for the Lakers to miss the playoffs? You never know, but I sure as hell know they don't DESERVE to make it.
